“it´s so hot”, is a thing I have heard a lot, when I have been lucky, to talk with athletes, that has done Ironman Hawaii.
So my coach went to action. Like many times, he got a good idea. This time a little crazy maybe, but good.
But the more crazy the ideas are, the more you need help to get it into real life.
I will spend most of september in Copenhagen, and even it can be ok, the weather is mostly 10 to max max 20 degrees, and not humide like on Hawaii.
But………………………there is a place that is, and that is the Junglehouse in Copenhagen ZOO.
And they are a good place, with over 1 million visitors a year, so one more could not be a problem:-)
Can I also bring my hometrainer and my bike ?? That they had to think about, and after a short time, the answer was “yes, no problem, Call Sami, and he will set you up”
So I went to the Zoo, meet the very kind and helpful Sami, and as he is normally arr. all kinds of special things in the Zoo, this was not difficult for him, a little strange, but ok.
So here I was, with all kind of fantastic birds and animals flying and crawling around, and already within my first 10 min. of biking, the sweat was just building on my skin.
Perfect Frank was saying, smiling, and went to say hello to the tigers, leaving me with all the birds, and in a perfect place to train for Hawaii.
So my friends, where ever you are, everything is possible, just you get some good people to help you.
See you out there!
