Still on the beautiful Mallorca, enjoying the spring weather, and getting ready for the Thomas Cook 70.3 The weather is slowly slowly getting warmer, and also the waters, here a picture from the morning from “my pool”:
So the training is going absolutely marvelous. It is great to bike on the mountains, and I can tell you, I am not alone out there. There is a line bicyclists on the way up or down… everywhere… so no time to wonder, where is everyone else.
But, I have ofcourse also been on the 70.3 bikeroute… yes, it is a tough route. What I say is that what I loose in time in the downhill, I will win on the way up. I would say, that when you get from swim, you spin like 15 minutes, and then starts the climb, and it last more or less on hour…:-) Sounds good for all of you, who don´t carry too many extra kilos on you, and who have strength in the legs
After the climb there is a graaaazzzyyyyyy hill down; like left and right, left and right… And the rest is small hills or flat. So that is about it, 90 km!
Last week I was lucky to get fantastic company on my “route checking”, and I was even able to talk with my own language, Finnish. Jona from Höllviken was down, and we did the ride together. Strong girl!!! And a super person, check more of Jona from her website www.yogajona.se
