First ! Happy New Year. A new year full of new and exciting moments to grap.
I just cannot join the monthly magazines and newspapers, when they are writing about 10 ways to loose weight.
They talk a lot………some times I even can read the same things 5 different places, and so I decided to put this for you…
When you are half drunk (hopefully in champagne), and you start to make your plans, you just need to get really tuff
AND GO ALL IN………….JUST MAKE PLANS THAT TAKE A WHOLE NEW MINDSET FROM YOU, AND PUT GOALS THAT DOESNT SHOOT FOR THE STARTS ONLY, SHOOT FOR CYPERSPACE………
THIS IS THE BEST WAY TO MAKE SURE THAT YOUR PROJECT FU….S UP.
Because there is no magic bullet, that will fix all, there is you, and the people close around you. That is it.
And when you are at it…..go ahead, promise yourself a number of kg., that you will lose to gain raceweight, and all the food that you will not touch in the new year……just go…..well…..ALL IN AGAIN…………
Sorry again, there is just you, (and in this one specially you) and the people close around you.
So to go all in, is a sure way to fu……….. this one up also.
So what to do ??
Many ways…..let me give one of those that I use, it is called 5-of-7
You simply make the same goals = in training and in clean food.
The only difference is, that you go week-by-week. (DONT PLAN A YEAR, IT STARTS WITH THE FIRST WEEK !)
Every week, you hit your trainingprogram 100% each day. You need to reach 5 of 7 days,and you are home safe.
If you hit 6 or even 7 days where you make all the training you planned, just supergood.
(this takes into account, that you actually plan your training for the coming week, and write it into a time schedule and agree with your partner and job and kids ect. This is basic, else there is no chance)
Every week, you stay clean and healthy on your food, again….5 of 7 days.
These days, you dont eat any of the food that you know, is not good for you. Nothing of it !
When you make it 5 out of the 7 days in a week, you are homesafe. Again….if you make it 6 or even 7 days…super succes.
And yes, you already where thinking right……. the 1 or 2 days that you “fall in” you dont have to go crazy, and just eat all the
bad stuff you can find…..)
This way, I promise you, you will have a very good chance, to make it, get strong, feel good, be happy because you succeed, and also to be in balance.
You need to give yourself this “space of failure”, because you will see, that when you make it 5-of-7-days, the results will come, and the habits will form, and it will be fun and ok, as it happens.
The 100%-all-in-way, is just not very fun, and not something for 98% of all of us.
There are a few, mostly pro athletes, that thrive in this way, and actually gain form this form of mindset.
so there it is
keep it simple, and give yourself some space………and then go for your goal and fitness, it is just a good part of life.
