As the media informed last week, Torbjørn “Thunderbear” Sindballe decided to finish his Triathlete career, because of healthproblems, and more exact: problems in his heart.
It is a month ago I was in Hannover getting through the 2/90/21.1 race, and the restitution from the race went great. The first week was light training and recovery from the race. Since the recover week, I have had 2 weeks of big amounts of training and also heavy weight training. This past week was again recover , and this is certainly needed, as I got really tired from the 2 hard weeks. how do I evaluate this?
For me it is important that when I drink coffee, it has the best quality, and the best taste. I prefer always a “caffe latte” either with soya milk or skinny milk for the morning. During the day I am fine with an espresso, or a strong cup of nescoffee either with or without coffein. I defenately dont like filter coffee…
While the weather is fantastic home in Copenhagen, and it is enjoyable to train these days, it is puring down rain down in southern parts of Europe. Frank is at the moment down in the Italian Alps trying to ride over the Alps with MTB.
It is around a week since the race in Hannover, and this week I started the “real” training again. I felt pretty good all the last week, even 2 days after the race I did not have that normal “after-race-feeling” being tired. But anyhow we decided with Frank that the days after would be “nice and easy”, just to prepare myself for the coming training afterwards. Week passed well, and now the training is on again.

Kaisa I-Jakobsen, from Team Endurance Sport and Ninja´s , was beating them all in Hannover on Sunday in Wasserstadt triathlon.
In the new route in Hannover, of 2,0k swim 90k cycle and 21,1k run, was 45 years old Kaisa in as number 7 of all the women, with finish time 5.02.24.
