If you have a feeling of stressing out, maybe it is time to have a short break from your normal daily routines, surroundings and even work. This is what we did the last weekend; packed our car and drove up to Northern Jutlandia, to the west coast of Denmark. The purpose for our “mini holiday” was as well to get some good training done, before the coming Danish Championchips in 2 weeks in Juelsminde, and also be a bit free from the work; sleep, eat and train well. We spent some very relaxing days up there, and even the weather was not the best possible, as we were not too lucky, but got to train in the normal rainy and windy danish summer. Anyhow we did get some great training done, and we felt unstressy when coming home again
Actually we did spend the days up in the west coast in the summerhouse. It is so different up there, you really feel like being on the countryside. In the morning when we got up, we saw some deers eating grass in the garden. you can make some long walks on the sandy beach by the sea, fantastic to hear the waves hitting on the beach, and fantastic to let the wind to blow around you!
– just do it, pack what you need, go somewhere for a few days, open your sences, do what you want, and only that
– train, eat, sleep, relax, and work on your mental plus side, build up your mental energy, slowly but steady
– go back and remember, any small place will do. Borrow a summerplace from friends or family, a cheap hotel from somewhere you always wanted to go, and let the training decide the rythm, just go with the flow, and you will have great time
