I was racing the ITU Long Distance about a month ago. It was one of the goals for my season… The other season goal is just 6 days away : Ironman Canada in Whistler. It is always a bit tricky thing to recover from one long distance and get to be fit for fight for the next one, that is just 4 weeks away… How to do that then?

2014 was a great year!
I had two good races:
– ITU Long Distance World Championship in China, where I was racing as a champion from the year before…and I came home with a silver medal… the best amateur of the DK results out there.
I love it… I love this feeling of having stomach full of “butterflies” every now and then Race is starting tomorrow morning at 7 local time, and this is 19 in Denmark and 20 in Finland. All is ready for the race, so let the day come!
In February, it is still good time for building strength, whether you train swimming, running or cycling = doing triathlon and even you are training just one of the disciplines. And it is also important to lift the real weights… for the power… and for avoiding injuries
