This year will be marked as a Championships year in my books Meaning that I will go for the Danish and World Championships in different distances and I of course will go for a good position in these races:-)
Last year was full of unpleasant happenings and things; accident in the beginning of the summer, cast around my arm almost 2 months, smashed bike, no races… Mentally a tough year. I must say……this time was the hardest of the all….this time I had my doubts, if I was ever coming back.
I still carry the scar from the accident, I still dont feel that part of my leg, and my arm is not back to normal.
The worst is the feeling when I go for a ride. When a car comes by me, with high speed and a little close, my body goes tight.
2 months to go and our first customers will arrive to our training hotel, Nextlevelcamp.com . Many things to prepare and do ready for the first arrival, and some things are easier to prepare from the spot itself. Mallorca on January, not + 30 degrees, but warm enough to ride around on the island. And HEY! So NOW the winter is reality in Denmark… it is cold and snow and lot’s of ice. So, you might have thoughts in your mind like; how to train in this weather…These are normal thoughts, just you watch your steps, specially when training outside

The days are almost there, just one night sleep and it is time to race again. I feel well prepared after a great taper, so it is just to push and see afterwards, how ready I was The feelings are getting there, and I really start to feel like the race is tomorrow
A part of my training down here on Mallorca of course is the swimming training in the sea, with wetsuit. It is important to get into the water with the wetsuit to get use to the way of swimming in neopren. And I can tell you that the neopren down here is definitely still needed when jumping in
Well I never was thinking that I was left alone home without Frankie, who cannot come home from Mallorca, but how come…?
Week is gone and we are home again from a great training week on Mallorca; if you ever plan to train in a better climate, and in the mountains, keep Mallorca in your mind, but……
