Getting home from 2 weeks trainingcamp down in south, is always more or less a challenge: the temperature change, training load change, normal everyday routines come in again, getting the work done etc. etc. But home is of course always sweet home, the only thing is… the weather… and in Denmark this year it looks like the weather is staying cold, and the winter is remaining, and the temperatures are staying low… so training inside is a keyword this winter … But the last 2 weeks I got lots of great training done on Playitas, and all that was outside
It is like you say, the days a passing fast, when you are having fun I feel now that they are passing almost too fast… 2 weeks on a training camp in the middle of the Scandinavian winter is just perfect. I have a couple of days left, and have got a great amount of training done. It is a good break for the “normal winter training”, when you stick to the southern atmosphere, and get a good working load on your body and muscles, and a good start (on continuing) to your winter training. Not to forget the nice heat and sunshine, giving to your body plenty of D vitamin
It is really nice to be down in the warm Canaries, and get some kilometers ridden. Came down yesterday and have at least 2 nice training weeks ahead me. I am really enjoying all the hours I can ride, run and swim. Today I had my first ride and I felt great
From today I have exactly 21 days for the race in Mexico. The weather here in Northern Europe is getting fu… cold and dark and the question is should I train outside or inside?
I have got some difficulties to get connected, but finally I succeed!! And here comes the story from the beautiful warm south (training is secret for now)
