As this morning I past the thermometer, I said to myself, ok, it totally ok to run on the treadmill again
It is quite cold I have to say, so I went to the local fitness center.
I have been running so many sessions on a treadmill here in Livigno, that I can call myself a true expert with different sessions, feel free to ask advice
As the weather is pretty chilly all around the Europe at the moment, it is a good idea to pull yourself inside for different training sessions. Why:
– to avoid injuries, that can happen on the icy and snowy roads
– to avoid harming the lungs as the colder weather than -15 can actually destroy something in your lungs, so be serious!
And remember; it is not boring to run on a treadmill, just have a program you can follow; intervals 500/300, 400’s, use the incline, and repeat and repeat My coach is giving me some good programs, and I know why I am doing/following them, I know the purpose of the sessions. This is important and also gives more sense for the training, when you know why you are doing it. And then even it is also tough sometimes, it is fun!!! And remember your headphones for the music!!
