I know now one thing, to train for triathlon; run, bike, swim is not for me just training, but it is a very important part of my life. Every time when I am injured, or in accident or sick and cannot train, I promise myself to be back in the races even stronger than before.
For me, when these things happen, I put my focus in my training somewhere else than in the discipline, I cannot practice.
I have had my foodinjury, and decided from the start, to get rid of it, by taking enough time of from running.
SO……the plan became, LIFT YOUR LEVEL ON SWIM AND BIKE, a good chance to do this, when I reduce/cut the running for a period.
So I have been pushing the pedals in Italy, Spain, and Denmark, as well as seen many different swimming pools in the same countries, and been practicing of getting to be a better swimmer… hard work…
(I know, some is thinking that I am a DIVA, for going to these wonderful places to train, but it is partly work when I travel, dont worry)
When focusing just into 2 of the 3, it gives me more time to train and recover in these 2 sports, and when back in the third, I will now better focus in the “missing” discipline.
